Transfer from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Ban Phe Pier (Koh Samet)
Koh Samet is a small island with white-sand beaches in Rayong province, the closest beach island to Bangkok. Ferries and speedboats to the island leave from the pier in Ban Phe. Our staff member meets you at Suvarnabhumi airport and takes you to the car, and the driver takes you straight to the pier. It is about 200 km, about 2.5–3 hours on the road depending on traffic.
How the trip works
- Our staff member waits for you in the arrivals hall, 2nd floor, Gate 3, with a sign with your name.
- Only your family or group rides in the car — no other passengers.
- Short stops of up to 15 minutes are free. A stop for lunch or shopping is 300 ฿, up to 1 hour (tell us in advance).
- Child seat — 300 ฿ each (one universal size), add the child’s age and weight to your request.
- The price is to Ban Phe pier. You buy the ferry or speedboat ticket to Koh Samet yourself at the pier.
Ferry to Koh Samet
From Ban Phe pier there are regular ferries (about 30–40 minutes to Na Dan pier) and speedboats that go straight to the beaches (about 15–25 minutes). Boats leave often during the day, but the last ones go in the late afternoon, around 5–6 pm. Foreign visitors pay a national park fee on the island. Schedules and prices depend on the season, so if you land in the evening, message us and we will help you plan the trip.
Which car to choose
A sedan suits 2 passengers, or 2 adults with a child in a child seat; a Toyota Camry suits 3. A family of 4 with luggage fits in a Toyota Innova or Toyota Fortuner, and a group of up to 8 in a van. The price is for the whole car, with fuel, tolls and parking included. The other way — from Ban Phe pier to Suvarnabhumi airport — costs the same.
